Although not operated by the Pocatello Animal Shelter, Katie’s Dog Park is a community facility located next to the shelter where dogs and their owners can run and play. The half-acre park features two separate play areas with one meant for large, active, and energetic dogs; and the other for smaller dogs or those that play more leisurely. Other amenities include two water fountains, benches, and a shade pergola. Most importantly, the entire park is fenced so that dogs are free to run off leash!
