When you have decided on a companion animal you would like to adopt, or if you would like to find out more information about a particular dog or cat, notify the Humane Society by phone (208) 232-0371 or email (click on email link at bottom of page). They can help you contact the foster parent. You can then speak directly with the foster parent about the dog or cat you're interested in.
Bannock Humane Society will NOT ship pets. If you do not live locally and want to adopt one of our wonderful pets, please contact us and make arrangements to come and visit us in person!

Owner's Commitment for Responsible Pet Ownership
|
|
I will be resonsible for my pet's health needs. These include:
- routine veterinary care including check-ups and vaccines
- adequate nutrition through proper diet, clean water at all times
- daily exercise
- regular grooming
I will be responsible for my pet's safety.
- I will properly control my dog by providing fencing where appropriate, not letting my dog run loose, and using a leash in public
- I will ensure that my pet has some form of identification (which may include collar tags, tattoos, or microchip ID)
I will be responsible for my pet's quality of life.
- I understand that basic training is beneficial to all dogs
- I will give my pet attention and playtime
- I understand that adopting a pet is a commitment in time and caring.
